Traxs-Link is the data transport system that interconnects all sites using ART’s Traxs products.

Traxs-Link operates by routing all data via the internet to a central hub, and data is then queued awaiting collection, which is achieved by calling the central hub.

Traxs-Link is written using 100% Microsoft .NET, and runs as a Windows service, with industry standard web services used to send and retrieve data to the central hub.

Traxs-Link’s default configuration ensures that sales made on a shop till will be on your head office database within minutes. All data is serialised and compressed before transmission.

The central data hub is provided as part of a standard ART support contract using our dedicated web server. It could, however, be installed within your WAN if required.

Traxs-Link is designed specifically as part of ART's Traxs product range, but can be used to transport data for any Microsoft SQL Server based system.
